The Cape Town Statement on Geoethics (CTSG) has been translated in Finnish thanks to the work by Elina Lehtonen (University of Helsinki, Finland) and Toni Eerola (Geological Survey of Finland). The IAPG is very grateful to our two colleagues.
The Unión Geofísica Mexicana A.C. (UGM) decided to officially endorses the Cape Town Statement on Geoethics on 4 April 2024. The IAPG wishes to thank the UGM President, Dr. José Luis Macías Vázquez.
To date, the Cape Town Statement on Geoethics has been translated in 38 languages and officially supported by 35 geoscience organizations.
