The International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS) - Initiative on Forensic Geology (IFG) is organizing an international conference to celebrate the 15th anniversary of IUGS-IFG, an organization dedicated to the geoscientific analysis of crime scenes, assisting law enforcement agencies worldwide.
This event is co-sponsored by the IAPG - International Association for Promoting Geoethics and will be held in Rome (Italy), from 21 to 23 May 2025. It will be 2 days of traditional meeting and 1 day on-site with a field training.
Silvia Peppoloni (INGV Researcher, IAPG President, Chair of the IUGS Commission on Geoethics and Chair of the CIPSH Chair on Geoethics) will deliver the Introductive Keynote Speech, titled "Geoethics: Ethical, Social and Cultural Implications in Geosciences".
The call for abstracts is open (deadline: 14 April 2025).
The registration is open until 11 May 2025.
